Popular Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu has reacted to reports stating that the first lady of Lagos State, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, implied that the elevator accident that led to the demise of a House officer, Vwaere Diaso, was a spiritual attack.

On Wednesday, the Lagos State government set up an inquiry team to investigate the elevator accident that killed Diaso.

However, while addressing the media on Wednesday, the governor’s wife said that an arrow has been fired into the health family.

In a now-viral video, Ibijoke also linked the incident to the jet accident that occurred in the state on Tuesday while seeking answers from the crowd.

“An arrow has been fired into the health family. First of August is a day I will never forget,

“The same day a helicopter crashed, the same day a lift dropped down. How? How? How?,
” She said.

Sharing the news article on Twitter, Yesufu wrote, “In a country where there are no consequences anything goes.

“For those who think this can never happen to them or their loved ones,

“Yesterday’s victims were once survivors. Today’s victims were yesterday’s survivors and tomorrow’s victims would be today’s survivors''.
