Arrangements are currently being made by the president to provide a replacement for the late James Ocholi weeks after his exit.

President Muhammadu Buhari may soon announce a replacement for the late James Ocholi, Nigeria's minister of State for Labour following his shocking death in an accident that claimed the lives of his son and his wife along Kaduna-Abuja expressway.

Some Kogi politicians tipped to replace the late Ocholi include:
