Heartbreaking! Former House of Reps Member Passes Away in Abuja (Photo)

 

According to a report on Premium Times, a former member of the House of Representatives, Kenneth Archibong, from Itu LGA, Akwa Ibom state, who represented Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency from 2011-2014, is dead.

 

The wife of the late politician, Bridget Archibong, confirmed to the publication on Friday, adding that the husband passed away on Tuesday in Abuja.

 

Mr. Archibong who chaired the committee on Air Force, succeeded Ita Enang at the House of Representatives after Mr. Enang was elected to the Senate. He is President Muhammadu Buhari’s current special assistant (Senate).

 

As at the time of filing this report, the circumstances of his death were not immediately ascertained, but associates said he had been ill for some time.
