Another outrage on social media from Nigerians has trailed Arik Air after air passengers on Friday were made to hustle and board an already over-booked flight. The photos and video clips are disheartening!
Airline passengers in Lagos few hours ago, were all shocked at the airport when they realised that their Arik flights were overbooked and the airline had no explanation as to why they did so.
Below is what an agrieved passenger shared on Instagram:
"This is the current situation in Lagos local airport right now!!!! I am extremely furious! You pay like 31K (over three weeks ago) naira for the supposed best airline (Arik) in Nigeria and they overbook their flight. This is an angry passenger who is upset , his been here since 6.30am and he has a little baby too with his lovely wife.
"I am like why overbook, over 50 ppl can’t get on the flight????? Is either they are not telling us the truth or something doesn’t add up! Why over book and collect innocent ppls money…..???? Why! Can someone tag Arik for me!."
Another Instagram video sees other passengers allowed to rush through the gates with no checks done, and the guards and airport officials stood back, helpless. At this time, no one was thinking of passenger safety.
