Cynthia Morgan Laments Absence Of Wizkid’s Colleagues At His Mum’s Funeral

Madrina, the Nigerian dancehall artist-turned-prophetess, who is formerly known as Cynthia Morgan, has berated Nigerian musicians for snubbing Wizkid’s mother’s funeral.

Wizkid buried his late mother, Mrs Jane Morayo Dolapo Balogun, on Friday, October 13, 2023.

The videos that emerged from the funeral ceremony in Lagos showed that it was low-key and not as star-studded as anticipated.

Reacting via her Instagram story, Morgan bemoaned the absence of Wizkid’s colleagues at the funeral.

She wrote: “Not one male or female colleague of Wiz [kid] is at his mum’s burial. Nawa!”

Recall that Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Balogun, died on August 18, 2023, in London, United Kingdom.
