Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Josephine Otabor aka Phyna has cried out on Twitter now X.
She alleged that she's receiving death threats since her altercation with singer, Davido.
The altercation between Phyna and Davido began when the singer liked a tweet that criticized the reality star. In response, Phyna took to her social media platform to question why she was being targeted with hate.
Davido explained that he didn’t know who Phyna was and suggested that his reaction was an inadvertent mistake. This exchange divided their respective fan bases, with Davido’s fans supporting him for dismissing what they perceived as a clout-chasing move by Phyna, while her fans criticized Davido for denying her recognition as the 2022 Big Brother Naija winner.
In a troubling development, Phyna revealed that she has been receiving numerous death threats in the aftermath of her online disagreement with Davido.
She expressed her concerns on her social media platform, emphasizing that she is not an artiste and appealed for an end to the threats while reminding everyone that “we are all on unique paths in life.”
On her X handle, she wrote, “I keep getting death threats oh. I’m not an artiste, make una nor kill me oh.
“Everybody na 001 for e lane oh. God nor be man.”
