Ifaluyi-Isibor, the former lawmaker representing Egor/Ikponba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is dead.
The former lawmaker died in Abuja after a short illness.
The deceased was a prominent figure in Edo State politics having served as a member of the lower chamber from 2007 to 2011.
Ifaluyi-Isibor’s death was confirmed by his son, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor in a post on his social media page.
He wrote, “After living a very fulfilled life, my dear Father and friend Rt Hon (Sir) Ifaluyi Isibor has passed on and has handed over the baton to us to keep running our race of life.
“His dear wife, our sweet Mom is strong, me and my amazing siblings are together and are doing ok.
“We are reminiscing on the beautiful memories of our dear dad. He passed peacefully a couple of hours ago at an Abuja Hospital after falling sick very briefly.
“We will miss him and his memories are blessed in our hearts.”
