Omugwo Is Not Vacation, It Is To Help The New Mother And Baby -Woman Tells African Men And Their Mothers (Video)

A Nigerian woman has opined that African men and their mothers shouldn't see Omugwo as a vacation but instead, as a means to help the new mother and her baby.

In the video, the TikTok user stated that mothers-in-law should not expect their son’s wife to clean and cook during their visit after child birth. According to her, a mother-in-law should be helping out instead.

She also urged men to stand up for their wives as it is not fair for them to be stressing themselves after childbirth. The TikTok user also told men who know that their mother is coming on vacation, to allow their wife’s mother come instead.
