President Tinubu Speaks On German Chancellor’s Visit To Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has disclosed that the during his meeting with German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, they exchanged views on pressing global issues and collaborative partnerships between Nigeria and Germany.

In a statement issued via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday night, President Tinubu asserted that Scholz’s visit had reinforced the two nations’ shared commitment to mutual growth and prosperity.

The Nigerian leader revealed that during the bilateral discussions, the two countries exchanged views on expanding trade, democracy and human rights, and regional stability.

Tinubu also said he had a fruitful discussion with Chancellor Scholz at the business roundtable with the German Delegation on the sidelines of the visit.

He emphasized the potential for collaboration between Nigeria and Germany in various sectors ranging from energy to digital economy, transportation to agriculture, and sustainable development.

Tinubu said: “Today marked a significant step forward in Nigeria-Germany relations with the visit of Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany
