According to Maduabum, the decision to pay Wike a visit was reached at the Governors’ last meeting in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Governors elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold a meeting with the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike over the ongoing crisis in Rivers State where he previously governed.
The Director General of the PDP Governors Forum, CID Maduabum, made this known in a statement on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
According to Maduabum, the decision to pay Wike a visit was reached at the Governors’ last meeting in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Maduabum stated that the PDP governors will meet with Wike today, Wednesday, November 1, at his office in Abuja, over the move to impeach Governor Siminlay Fubara of Rivers State.
He added that the proposed meeting is geared towards reconciliation and mediation between the FCT minister and his successor.
