Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tobechukwu Okoh aka Peruzzi has made clarifications following rumours that he wrote one of Burna Boy’s hit songs.
The clarification came after he had taken to social media to boast that he has written over 252 songs for the Nigerian music industry.
Some of his followers on social media had claimed that Burna Boy’s hit song was written by Peruzzi and further criticized Burna for allegedly using many songwriters while his fans hailed him for his lyrical prowess, referring to them as “lost children.”
In response, Peruzzi emphatically debunked the speculations.
On his official X, Peruzzi wrote, “Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do.”
