Benin Fan of Rema Defends Singer, Explains History Behind “Demonic” Mask

Rema who broke his silence said the mask could be traced back to his roots in Benin.

 
A Benin fan of Nigerian singer Rema has taken to Twitter to defend the musician after he was accused of performing with a demonic mask at his 02 concert.
 
Many even alleged that Rema has joined illuminati following his performance with the mask.

A Nigerian fan with the handle, Edocentric_ took out time to defend the singer and wrote: “Queen Idia Mask/REMA isn’t demonic; as a matter of fact, she is a national hero to Nigeria and the Benin Kingdom. She lived in the 15th century. She was the first Edo woman to go to war. She defeated a giant for a son to become king She was the first queen mother in Benin.”
