Friends later revealed that he took his life because he lost N2.5 million to betting.
His last chat has now been released to shed light on his reasoning. In the chat, he is seen telling a certain “Excellency” that he became a gambler because he had no job or money. He added that of the N2.5m he used to make the bet, N1.2m was not his.
He then begged the Excellency to come to his aid.
“I will be dead by the time you read this message. As I type this message I am where I want to buy sniper,” he wrote to the Excellency.
