Lyon Agree N12.6b Fee to Sign Super Eagles Striker Gift Orban From KAA Gent

French club, Olympique Lyonnais has agreed to pay a staggering N12.6 billion for Super Eagles striker, Gift Orban from KAA Gent.
 
This is according to French sports daily L'Equipe.
 
According to the newspaper, the French giants are set to sign the Nigerian striker for a fee of around €13m (approximately N12.6 billion in Nigerian currency) and he will ink a four-and-half year deal with the club until June 2028.
 
Orban, 21, who was nominated for the CAF Young Player of the Year for 2023, has been one of the most sought-after players since he joined e Gent in January 2023
 
He scored 27 goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances in his first six months to fire Gent to UEFA competitions.
 
Before his move to Gent, he played for Norwegian side Stabæk where he scored 19 goals and provided seven assists in 24 appearances.
