See Photos of 3 Nigerians Arrested in Thailand After Posing as Tourists to Rob Hotel Rooms

Three Nigerian men who pretended be tourists and burglarized hotel rooms across Pattaya City in Thailand, have been arrested and paraded by police officers in the country.

 
Three Nigerian men identified as Jaho Jaho Nonso (30),  Ugochukwu (30), and Samuel Osas (30) who allegedly posed as tourists after checking into a Pattaya city hotel, and burglarized it, were arrested on March 27 by police officers in Thailand.
 
 
Investigators disclosed that during the months of August and September 2015, and March 2016, managers of ten hotels around Pattaya City have reported these crimes but were unable to catch them until now.
 
 
Pattaya City Police cooperating with the Tourist Police, together monitoring CCTV around the City, gathered enough evidence to make the arrest of the Nigerian criminal group who was residing at a hotel behind Tuk Com in South Pattaya.
 
 
It was revelaed that the Nigerian gang would rent a hotel room and they will climb from their room’s balcony to other guests' rooms and take their belongings. They always focused on cash. Once done, hey immediately check out from the hotel and  hide in small hotels.
 
 
Investigators concluded that this gang burglarized eight hotels within the seven months period. The estimated total loss from hotel thefts were about 454,800 baht.
 
 
They would be prosecuted according to Thai law on charge of robbery, illegal immigration and overstaying.
