Daft People Turning Celebrities - Nigerians Mock Phyna Over Mispronunciation Of ‘NAFDAC’, She Reacts

Phyna pronounced it as NAF-TAG, stirring mixed reactions from social media users who mocked her while others suggested it was an intentional gaffe.


Ex-BBNaija hoisemate, Phyna has been dragged online by Nigerians after pronouncing the food control agency, NAFDAC as NAFTAG while promoting a herbal brand.

A video making the rounds on social media captured the fastrising actress promoting a business online.

However, while trying to assure her target audience of the product’s certification by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), she made a blunder.

Phyna pronounced it as NAF-TAG, stirring mixed reactions from social media users who mocked her while others suggested it was an intentional gaffe.

Amidst the backlash, Phyna replied to the comment section of a post where she was being blasted for the mispronunciation.

“My dear abeg gather you tears here I need am 🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣🪣 Later now Una go say nor be hold Una mumu bottom…. 🤪😃🤣🤣🤣🤣,”
she wrote.
