A lecturer, Adamu Gambo Hudu, has been arrested by the Yobe State Police Command for allegedly r*ping a female student in Potiskum town.

Police Public Relations Officer, Yobe State Command, DSP Abdulkarim Dungus, confirmed that Hudu was arrested last Wednesday by Police operatives, noting that further investigation is being carried out on the issue.
The PPRO said, “The suspect is in our custody. He was arrested for alleged r*pe, molestation and breach of trust. Further investigation is ongoing”.
The Registrar of Al-Ma’arif College of Health Sciences and Technology, Usman Alhaji Saleh, also confirmed the arrest to newsmen.
