State Security Storm APC Data Office, Arrest 28 Workers

On Saturday, the All Progressives Congress data centre in Lagos was invaded by Operatives of the Directorate of State Security (DSS) and personnel of the anti-crime squad, OP-MESA. Some unnamed sources said the security officers were tipped off that the APC office was being used to produce and issue fake Permanent Voters Cards.

 
APC Data Office Invaded
 
On Saturday, the All Progressives Congress data centre in Lagos was invaded by Operatives of the Directorate of State Security (DSS) and personnel of the anti-crime squad, OP-MESA.  They arrested 28 workers (25 data agents and 3 security guards).
 
At the time of this report, the cause of the invasion and arrests is not known. Some unnamed sources said the security officers were tipped off that the APC office was being used as a warehouse by a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, to produce and issue fake Permanent Voter Cards. Another person said it that weapons were being kept at the centre. 
 
According to PUNCH, the security agents confiscated computer hardware, which contained the data of APC MEMBERS in several parts of the country.
