The leadership of the Nigerian Army are currently organizing a joint training session for soldiers for a military event.

The Nigerian Army will from Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 20 April 2016 conduct a Nine- day Field Training Exercise (FTX) in Kaduna and Bauchi State as part of the training activities scheduled to mark the 2016 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL)

The conduct of the exercise will start with the massing up of troops in Bauchi and Kachia and later culminate in a simulation exercise at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji.

Consequently, members of the public are hereby urged not to panic on sighting routine convoy of troops along Road Kaduna-Kachia–Bauchi and the general area of Alkaleri Forest in Bauchi state but to go about their normal activities during the period of the field training exercise
