A notorious armed robber has ran after his victim dealing him deep machete cuts as he tried to rob him of his valuables in Surulere.
A notorious robber attacked his victim with machete, inflicting deep machete cuts on him in a bid to rob him of his valuables.
The robber later identified as 31-year-old man, Abdullai Hasaan attacked the victim during a foiled robbery incident.
Hassan was arrested on Tuesday morning by police men. The victim was on his way out of Surulere, when he was attacked at Shita Roundabout. The incident created panic among residents and workers in Surulere area, who quickly called the police.
The victim of the failed robbery incident was immediately rushed to Randle General Hospital, where he was being attended to by health workers.
Spokesman of Lagos state police command, Dolapo Badmos confirmed the arrest of the suspect and revealed that the machete was recovered from him.
She also said that the suspect would be transferred to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) for further investigations.
