A notorious thug has been arrested by operatives of the Kano State Police Command for the murder of his friend.
The notorious thug has been identified as Abba Garba, popularly known as “Dan ‘Kuda.”
It was gathered Garba, a resident of Dorayi quarters, was arrested while trying to flee to Niger republic after he allegedly killed one Zaharaddeen Iliyasu by slaughtering him on his neck.
Spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, March 31, 2024, said the suspect committed the offense due to a mild misunderstanding that occurred between them.
Police have been on the red alert at Dorayi area of the state following thuggery activities that have been threatening the peaceful coexistence of the people of the area.
