A family source said that Dardau died shortly after leading an early morning Prayer at the mosque .
Alhaji Jibril Dardau, the General Manager, Cooperate Affairs of National Inland Waterways Authority, (NIWA), has passed away.
He slumped and died in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, on Friday.
A family source said that Dardau died shortly after leading an early morning Prayer at the mosque .
“He slumped in his sitting-room this morning. He had been managing High Blood Pressure, BP for sometimes now.”
“He lost his most senior wife last year”, said the source who craved anonymity.
The cooperate headquarters of NIWA in Lokoja was thrown into mourning when the news of his sudden death trickled in at the early hours of the day.
Many staff were spotted discussing his demise.
The deceased was buried after Friday Juma’at prayer at Unguwan Power graveyard in Lokoja, amidst tears.
