Police Blocks #BringBackOurGirls Protesters from Aso Rock

As the world marks the one year anniversary of the abduction of over 200 schoolgirls, Police officers have stopped Bring Back Our Girls campaigners from gaining entrance to the presidential villa in Abuja.

According to live reports making rounds online and social media, Police officers have stopped Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaigners from gaining entrance to the Aso Rock presidential villa in Abuja.
 
‎It was reported that the protesters had set out from the Unity Fountain in Abuja around 10:30am, but met a wall of police officers on the road leading to the villa as this is the third time that the group will be visiting the villa under President Muhammadu Buhari.

The first was in July, when they were well recieved, second in November, when they were initially prevented from seeing the president, but ended up meeting him after insisting as journalists were ordered out of that meeting.
 
Today, April 14th, marks the second year anniversary of the abduction of over 200 schoolgirls in the Chibok area of Bornu state.
