According to her, the DSS accused her of making a post against Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, in February.

Aisha Galadima has been released by the Department of State Services, DSS.

Recall that the political ally of former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was arrested over a post on her Facebook page criticizing the state governor, Uba Sani.

She alleged that she was harassed and beaten while in custody.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain made the allegation after her release from the custody of the security agency.

We had reported that she was picked up and whisked away from her residence on Sunday afternoon.

The arrest was confirmed by one of her brothers who said, “Aisha has just been arrested by DSS at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna.”

Confirming her release, the APC chieftain said she was harassed and beaten by DSS operatives.

Addressing newsmen, Galadima said she was inside her room when four DSS operatives came to drag her out.

“I was inside my room about to take my bath when they came in and dragged me out. I saw four of their Hilux vehicles outside the gate. They pushed me inside and drove away,” she said.

According to her, the DSS accused her of making a post against Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, in February.

It is believed that Aisha Galadima’s arrest is connected to the face-off between El-Rufai and his successor, Governor Uba Sani.

The governor recently alleged that El-Rufai left behind a huge debt burden for his administration.
