A bandit in dreadlocks, seemingly the leader of the gang had a rifle hanging from his right arm was also spotted joking and holding the white man from behind.
A video showing suspected armed bandits making jokes with an expatriate in an open field has surfaced online.
One of the bandits was heard saying “Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal Wakeel’, meaning, “Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”

One of the gang members added “Here is a white man in the flesh,” as the white man jokingly urged the deadlocked gang leader to hold him well. “Allahu Akbar! The deadlocked man was not killed. It’s a fat lie. He was not killed.” he added
Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert identified the spot as Gusau – Sokoto road and further identified the dreadlocked bandit as Mai-Jakka.
He wrote, “Dreaded bandit kingp8n Mai-Jakka is shown cracking jokes freely with one of d construction company’s engineers handling Gusau – Sokoto road.”
