We Received Olakulehin’s Letter of Nomination as 43rd Olubadan – Oyo Govt Confirms

The State government on Wednesday confirmed it has received a letter of Olakulehin’s nomination.

 
Oyo State government has received letter confirming the nomination of the current Balogun of Ibadanland, Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.
 
The state government revealed this in a chat on Wednesday.
 
Recall that the Olubadan-in-Council which consists of High Chiefs in Ibadan has appointed Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
 
Olakulehin who is from Okugbaja lineage in Ita Baale area in Ibadan North East local government area was appointed last Friday at the meeting chaired by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland and a former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.
 
The State government on Wednesday confirmed it has received a letter of Olakulehin’s nomination.
 
Olayiwola, in a telephone conversation with DAILY POST on Wednesday, said the letter of nomination of Olakulehin was received from the Ibadan South East local government area.
 
He said the state government is currently working on the letter.
 
“You want to confirm it from me? Yes. I can authoritatively tell you that we have received his letter of nomination.

“We received the letter from Ibadan South East local government area.

“We are currently working on the letter. After we have done our own, we will pass it to the governor. But, I can tell you that we have received the letter and we are working on it”.
