A nature lover has captured the terrifying moment when a huge monster alligator captures and tries to swallow another alligator.

This is the terrifying moment a gigantic cannibal alligator ate another alligator. The footage shot in Florida lake captured the unfortunate moment as the huge animal tries to swallow the other.
The gruesome video was taken by Alex Figueroa as he took a morning stroll.
"I was taking a morning walk before work at Circle B Bar Reserve and I happen to witness this 11 to 12 foot alligator eating a smaller gator he or she killed," he said.
Cannibalism is not unusual among giant reptiles. Researchers for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission say alligators may eat each other to control their population.
