Angry Chimpanzee Escapes Zoo But is Dramatic Recaptured After It Fell From Electricity Pole (Photos+Video)

A violent and angry Chimpanzee caused a stir after it escaped from a zoo and hanged on a live electricity pole for hours before dramatically falling off.

A Chimpanzee that escaped zoo has been recaptured in a most dramatic fashion. The animal hopping from one electric pole to the other was finally captured after it dramaticall fell off the electricity pole having escaped his zoo.
 
According to The Mirror, the 24-year-old monkey named Cha Cha had climbed up on to the pole in a bid to evade capture, while his keepers came up with a plan to rescue him.
 
He led them on a two hour chase through local neighbourhoods
 
While some tried to reach him in a cherry picker, others gathered with a large blanket in case he fell.
 
 
As the footage shows the animal was getting annoyed at the attempts to capture him, sitting down for a while, out of reach.
 
He was shot with a tranquiliser gun but managed to swing along the wire, before losing his grip and falling.
 
He hit the ground hard and was rushed away in a waiting ambulance. He had escaped from Yagiyama Zoological Park in the city of Sendai, Japan.
 
Zoo director Toshikatsu Ouchi apologised for the inconvenience caused to residents in a press conference.
 
 
 
A zoo spokesman said: "Despite the fall, he was unhurt and there is no threat to his life.

"We are investigating why he escaped."
