Nasarawa: Students, Staff Stranded As Rainstorm Destroys GSSS Takalafia

According to a community leader, the incident has left both staff and students stranded on Thursday as school resumed.

A heavy rainstorm on Wednesday evening caused severe damage to Government Senior Secondary School, Takalafia, located in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The incident also affected other facilities in the school premises.

While reacting in a statement, Comrade Sunday Soko of the Takalafia Students Union, TASU, called on the government and other public-spirited person and groups to intervene to alleviate the suffering the school is facing as a result of the rainstorm.
