The party also urged the house to beam its searchlights on the unjust sacking of over 27,000 workers across the state without payment of their entitlements, including the bastardization of the civil service in the state.

As Nigerians commemorate this year's International Workers Day, the Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the committee established by the Kaduna State House of Assembly to scrutinize the expenditure of the previous administration led by Nasir El-Rufai.

The party also urged the house to beam its searchlights on the unjust sacking of over 27,000 workers across the state without payment of their entitlements, including the bastardization of the civil service in the state.

Abraham Alberah Catoh, State Publicity Secretary of the PDP in a statement on Wednesday, while felicitating with workers in Kaduna State on the occasion of Worker’s Day, said the party is in solidarity with civil servants in the state and the entire country for their resilience and commitment to duty towards the development of the state and country

“The PDP reiterates its commitment to supporting good governance at all levels and government’s efforts in reducing the pains and plight of all workers, including the private sector, as they are the bedrock of the entire governance structure and economic development.

“We wish the Nigerian workers a Happy May Day celebration,”
it said.
