Actress Bimpe Akintunde has spoken about the challenges of single parenting, stating that it kills women faster.

She stated that it is not a desired situation, but rather a circumstance that life may bring.

In an interview with Biola Bayo on her podcast Talk To B, Bimpe stressed that men have a natural inclination towards polygamy and should therefore take responsibility when they father a child.

She highlighted that single parenting can be overwhelming and draining for women. She also urged men to step up and acknowledge their responsibilities, whether they intend to put a woman in a family way or not.

Bimpe emphasized, “Single motherhood isn’t what anyone prays for; it’s what kills a woman faster than anything else. Men are polygamous by nature, and any man who puts a woman in a family way, whether knowingly or unknowingly, should take responsibility.”

In addition to her message on single parenting, Bimpe also shared that people are often surprised when they meet her, as they expect her to be like her fiery movie characters.

However, she clarified that Wasila Coded is just a character she plays, and Bimpe Akintunde is her real name. She emphasized that she wants to be known for who she truly is – a calm and kind person.

“When people meet me, they’re surprised, thinking I’m always breaking bottles, but I tell them Wasila Coded is just a character, Bimpe Akintunde is my name.
