Man In Trouble After Cloning The Facebook Account Of Rivers SSG

P. Chidera and two others were on trial for cloning Facebook accounts and using them for fraudulent activities.

In Port Harcourt, a Magistrate Court has handed down a one-year prison sentence or community service to a man convicted of fraud.

Daily Post reports that P. Chidera and two others were on trial for cloning Facebook accounts and using them for fraudulent activities.

In her verdict, Chief Magistrate Rita Oguguo found Chidera guilty of cloning the Facebook account of Tammy Danagogo, the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, and using it to defraud the public.

The magistrate stated that the prosecution successfully proved the fraud charges against the accused.

Chidera was sentenced to one year in prison or the option of community service, which includes sweeping, grass cutting, and drainage cleaning from the Rivers State Government House back gate at Jumbo Street, Old GRA Port Harcourt to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital.

The community service is to be performed four times a week for three months.
