One Student Dies As Fire Guts Anambra Seminary School

There was a fire outbreak at Bishop Crowther Memorial Seminary School, Awka, Anambra State, leading to the death of one student of the institution.

The fire broke out around 11.30 pm on Saturday, May 18.

The fire damaged the school’s hostel, including mattresses and other students’ belongings.

The victim, a student who died in the incident, has been taken to a mortuary.

The cause of the fire has not been revealed.

Bishop Crowther Memorial Seminary School confirmed the incident in a Facebook post shared on Monday, May 20.
