A girl would have been crushed to death if she had waited a second after she narrowly escaped death when she ran out in front of a speeding train at a level crossing.
The unbelievable footage was captured by a train spotter, who filmed the Metra outbound express train approaching Edgebrook Metra station in Chicago, Illinois.
According to the video maker, the locomotive was travelling at an estimated speed of around 60-70mph on the approach to the station on the Milwaukee North line.
