In what would come across as a most unprecedented case of wickedness, a man has set his own grandson on fire in Delta.
The man and his wife have been arrested by the police for the attempted murder of the boy.
Identified as Mr Akali, the man was said to have poured fuel on his stepson, who is known as Johnbull and set him ablaze at Abigborodo village after Ugberikoko, in Sapele metropolis, Delta State about a week ago.
Surprisingly, the young man's mother allegedly said that her son was too stubborn and therefore deserved the punishment.
The victim sustained 92 degree burn and is presently receiving treatment in Jesus Heal Clinic, Sapele.
