Kidnappers Abduct 11 Travellers In Enugu, Demand N30m

As of the time of filing this report, the hoodlums are said to be demanding N30 million to free the victims.

No fewer than 11 passengers have been kidnapped on the Amechi-Idodo stretch of the Enugu-Abakaliki Federal Highway.

As of the time of filing this report, the hoodlums are said to be demanding N30 million to free the victims.

A source disclosed that the victims, including tertiary institution students, were abducted on Tuesday while returning to Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.

They left Awka, Anambra State capital, before they were intercepted by the heavily armed men at the notorious Amechi-Idodo area in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The Enugu State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
