Catholic Church and Houses Burnt in Enugu as Fulani Herdsmen Invade Communities

Enugu State has suffered mayhem from the brutish hands of suspected Fulani herdmen who have burned buildings and destroyed properties.

 
Christ Holy Catholic Church, Odozi-Obodo, at Onu-Eke, Nimbo, in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State was burnt in the early hours of Monday morning, following the invasion of the community, by over 500 fulani herdsmen.

This is even as scores of persons have been reportedly killed in the Fulani herdsmen invasion, while eleven houses were confirmed razed. '
 
It was earlier reported that the Fulani men had arranged about 500 foot soldiers for the attack before negotiations quelled the crisis.
 
Other details regarding the attack is still sketchy for now, Vanguard reports.
