Ossaiugbo Ifeanyi Marcus, has emerged the best graduating student of Delta State University (DELSU), after graduating with the cumulative aggregate of 4.68 from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science
The new graduate was offered automatic employment as a lecturer in the institution and an overseas scholarship to pursue his postgraduate program.
Professor Victor Peretomode, who is the Vice-chancellor of the university, announced this at the school’s 10th convocation in Abraka, and also assured him that the institution would bear the full cost of his overseas post graduate studies.
According to him, the university would, in compliance with the university’s vision and mission statement, continue to provide qualitative education in terms of research and innovations, teaching and learning to its students and the society in general.
