Tajudeen sent heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Sarkin Gobir, the Gatawa District in Sabon Birni Local Government, the people, and the government of Sokoto State over the irreparable loss.

Hon Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has expressed grievances over the killing of the District Head of Gatawa in Sokoto State, Isa Bawa.
It was reported that the Sarkin Gobir had died in kidnappers den.
The bandits had kidnapped the late District Head of Gatawa and his son on July 29. The late Bawa, however, died in captivity.
Reacting to the incident via a statement by his media aide, Musa Krishi, on Thursday, the speaker decried the kidnap and treatment of the late Emir.
He said, “In the first place, the bandits’ kidnap of the traditional ruler was barbaric, their treatment of the late Sarkin Gobir as inhuman.”
