A woman is being made to pay for her wrongs after engaging in perverted act with a really young girl in Kano.
The woman, a 29-year-old housewife, Sadiya Muhammad has been arraigned by the Kano police in a Magistrates’ Court on Friday for 'fingering' a four-year-old girl.
The accused was charged with act of gross indecency, contrary to Section 285 of the Penal Code.
The Prosecutor, Mr Sale Muhammad, told the court that Tijjani Abdulrahman of Tudun Murtala Quarters, Kano, reported the case to Gwagwarwa Police Division, Kano, on April 12.
He said on April 11 at about 7:30 p.m. the accused, a wife to Sadiq Muhammad, lured his four-year-old daughter into a nearby house and inserted her finger into the victims v*gina.
The prosecutor said the victim was rushed to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano.
The accused pleaded not guilty to a one- count charge.
Chief Magistrate Fatima Adamu granted bail to the accused in the sum of N50,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.
Adamu ordered the sureties to produce two recent passport photographs and their house and working place shall be verified by the police.
