A man has been left in critical condition after his wife cornered him and poured hot water on his manhood.
A woman has unleashed her anger on her husband by pouring hot boiling water on his manhood. The angry woman was arrested by the Malawian police.
When interrogated, she told the police that she had to do the act in order to stop her husband from his many countless cheating.
Kanengo police arrested 33-year-old Juliet Chiwaya, after being accused of causing severe burns to the private parts of 36-year-old Maxwell Chiwaya.
She has been charged with one count of act intended to cause grievous harm. If convicted, Juliet Chiwaya faces up to seven years in prison.
It was gathered that the couple have been married for 14 years. But, the wife had consistently accused the husband who is a business man of cheating. Things got out of hand on Sunday, when a businessman came to the couple's home to collect payment for items the husband bought several weeks ago.
The husband was not home at the time. The businessman told Juliet that Maxwell was cheating on her with another woman.
This revelation angered Juliet, and she immediately boiled a pot of water. When her husband came home, she poured the water on his private part.
Maxwell was severely burned, and had been taken to a hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.
