Indications have emerged that Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, might be considering quitting the team.

Super Eagles Captain and Goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, failed to appear before the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Disciplinary Committee that met on Tuesday , June 23 in Abuja and reports have claimed that he might be considering leaving the senior national team.

A source close to the player said on Tuesday that Enyeama was seriously considering quitting the Super Eagles.

Enyeama, who expressed serious concerns about the security situation in Kaduna prior to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad was summoned by the NFF to defend himself.

He had later apologised to the good people of Kaduna and the governor and the NFF over his utterance, saying he regretted the statement.

Despite his apology, the NFF have summoned him to appear before the disciplinary committee - an invitation the Super Eagles captain is yet to honour.
