reported it here earlier today that the Walin Sokoto, Hamzat Ahmadu, an accomplished diplomat and technocrat who served as Personal Secretary to two Nigerian military leaders - Aguiyi Ironsi and Yakubu Gowon, passed away at a private hospital in Lagos on Sunday, aged 92.
The former Nigeria’s Ambassador to United States of America, Germany, France and the former Soviet Union (USSR), was laid to eternal rest after a funeral prayers were held today in Gwadabawa Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
