As the party-dividing crisis in APC deepens, Governors on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors have expressed their deep concerns about the deteriorating state of the party's unified structure over the leadership positions of the National Assembly.
This had prompted a late night meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari as a desperate move to call the key leaders in the party to order.
Emerging from the meeting, Imo state governor and chairman of APC governors’ forum,Rochas Okorocha, told reporters that he and his colleagues were concerned by the development at the National Assembly and decided to rub minds with the president on the matter.
Okorocha used that juncture to salute the resilience of Buhari on his campaign to revamp the dying economy of the country. He claimed the APC have decided to come together as a family to resolve the crisis internally through a reconciliation process among the senators.
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State also attested to the claims of the Imo state Governor. He urged the senators to obey and respect the psoition of the party which is above their personal interests.
