Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has been lambasted by X users over a tweet he made criticising Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State for his stance on the tax bill.

Zulum had featured as a guest on Sunday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today where he addressed the tax reform bill.

Zulum insisted that if the four tax bills currently undergoing review before the Green Chamber are passed into law, only  Lagos state will benefit.

Reacting on X, Seyi Law, who is a Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment & Tourism to the Ondo State governor, slammed Zulum.

Seyi tweeted: "You want to hold the SW to ransom because of a tax bill?! These people too funny. All their degrees have been thrown in the garbage while trying to defend their elites. Zulum sef dey zuzu."

A civil engineer replied Seyi, writing: "If you are sacked now & you go back to cracking dry jantofubu jokes and disturbing Seyi Tinubu's precious moments on WhatsApp with your empty ideas, you will say your governor is wicked because how are you his mouth piece & talking about another governor like this?"

"Your head is as big as Ekenedilichukwu yet devoid of a functioning brain," Seyi Law hit back.

Other X users took to the microblogging site to attack him.
