The X user with the handle @Aggie_lawlaah narrated how her sister started contracting on Dec. 1 and was induced two days later when she gave birth.

A Nigerian woman on the social media platform, X has alleged that Gbagada General Hospital swapped her sister's newborn baby with another person's deceased infant.

She shared a photo of the baby to support her claim.

The X user with the handle @Aggie_lawlaah narrated how her sister started contracting on Dec. 1 and was induced two days later when she gave birth.

Her baby was struggling to breathe and was taken to the NICU.

Later that evening, the child's father was called to sign a test form for the baby but the name on the form was a different one and he raised concerns.

Two days later, on Dec. 5, they were told their baby had d!£d and were given a note without a name on it.

When they got to the hospital morgue and were handed their baby, they noticed that the name plastered on the child's body was "Adefisan baby", whereas  their own baby is Okolie.

She is now calling on authorities to look into the incident, adding that her sister is traumatised because this is her first child.
