Davido had in another interview stated that Nigeria doesn't practice true democracy.
Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido has revealed why Nigeria is not progressing.
According to him, effective leadership which is the key for development is missing in Nigeria.
He stated this when he featured on the ‘Elevate Africa Convos’ podcast.
Davido said Nigeria has the potential to prosper but suffers from ineffective governance that hinders progress.
“I tell people, if you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere,” Davido stated.
“I just feel the only thing missing is the right leaders to guide us. Once we get that right, I believe there’s nothing that can stop us.”
Recall that Davido recently sparked controversy after warning Americans against contemplating relocation to Africa, especially Nigeria, saying the country’s economy is in a “shambles” in a podcast interview.
In another interview with The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido also said Nigeria lacks true democracy.
