Governor Rauf Aregebesola has been accused of mismanaging the state which is evident in the inability of the state to pay the salaries of workers for over 7 months.
Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola may not be in the best of moods following a petition that was submitted by a judge in the state calling for his impeachment.
The
petition which was written by Justice Folahanmi Oloyede has been submitted to the State House of Assembly for consideration.
In confirming the the receipt of the petition, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Honourable Najeem Salaam told news men that it would consider it after the on-going strike.
“I can confirm that the assembly received the petition. But, there is an ongoing strike now, therefore, we cannot do anything serious on it", Salaam said.
The 30-page petition accuses Aregbesola of gross mismanagement of state funds, and finally calls for his impeachment.
