ASUU Declares Indefinite Strike in Bayelsa State-Owned University

The strike action was announced on Tuesday following a meeting at the union’s secretariat in Amassoma.

 
An indefinite strike has been declared at the Bayelsa State Government-owned Niger Delta University.
 
The strike was declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
 
The strike according to the association, is due to the government’s alleged failure to honour agreements reached with the union.
 
The strike action was announced on Tuesday following a meeting at the union’s secretariat in Amassoma.
