Elderly women and men have been demonstrating in Ghana's second city of Kumasi over the electricity shortages in the country.

Dozens of elderly women and men have reportedly taken to the streets of Ghana's city of Kumasi to protest over the electricity shortages in the country. They claim their children are not able to look after them because the power problem is affecting their ability to earn a living. They also complained that it is causing an increase in teenage pregnancies in their neighbourhoods.
It can be recalled that few weeks ago, Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson led her fellow celebrities to a peaceful protest tagged #DumsorMustStop against the lack of electricity in Ghana.
